In the Manga Rei and Mina are just about best friends, and believe me even best friends fight!

I love the manga version of Minako and Rei's Love Hate relationship, it is best shown in the short story of Volume 13 in the Tankubon, Exam Battle 3: "Rei and Minako's Girl School Battle" [ ENTER ]

Also in Volume 16 it show's their closeness and trusting for one another to confide in, by throwing in Rei's disgusted looks at Minako's actions every once and a while is priceless. [ ENTER ]
